It's The Little Things...

Every morning, Addi springs out of bed like a pop-tart... I'm a little jealous of that, actually. Her morning routine has always been to walk through the bathroom, passing J, and straight into the kitchen, grabbing her new obsession from the fridge - GoGurt. She would then walk back into the bathroom, hair in her eyes, and hand the tube to J to "Fix it." I would giggle every morning over this.

Lately, though, she's been waking up a lot during the night... A LOT. Seriously. I'm not exaggerating here. So, because of her nightly awakenings, she doesn't quite spring from bed the way she used to. Her new routine is, climbing out of bed and over to mommy, who's waiting to change and dress her, and fall into her arms and rock back and forth. Addi doesn't cuddle. I don't think I can stress that enough... and sometimes, I miss my little, little baby girl who I could just hold and cuddle all day.

I'm quite fond of Addi's new routine. It's the best way to start the morning.; holding your favorite person in your arms, just rocking back and forth - taking it easy for a couple minutes. I'm not mad at it.
