    My little creative monkey.

Addi adores the camera. It doesn’t matter which side she’s on… she’s game. I have a collection of photos that she’s taken… its very interesting to see the world through the eyes of a two year old. I love that she is so eager to learn, has the patience to apply it and the ability to wait. I think that’s the hardest part for her, though… waiting isn’t really her thing. Mine, either, now that I think about it. She is very eager to learn how to use all technology… the computer, my iPod, my phone… if you’re unfortunate enough to have secured a spot in my speed dial, chances are you’ve gotten a call from Addi.

This encouragement has backfired many times on me, though… she’s called ex boyfriends, sent random text messages, deleted emails, and… thrown open doors and taken some rather, {ahem} interesting shots of her mommy. Thankfully, I still have some control and can stop that hilarity from entering the mainstream.

I want her to explore her world and involve herself in anything she finds entertaining and interesting. I try not to be too “helecopterish” as a parent and I try not to be too controlling and unreasonable. So far, I think we’re making a great team and I learn just as much from her as I hope she is from me.

And… I’m going to start posting some of her pictures here… some have already made it to a few of the sites I indulge myself on. Hope you find them as entertaining as I do.

As a mom, I try to remember to ask "Why not?" when The Boy wants to try something not "traditionally" for kids. 99% of the time, allowing him to explore is the right thing to do.

Sounds like a mantra that suits you, as well. Your Jr. Miss is a doll.

    Also: love the tat.

Thank you both for your encouragement! :) I couldn't be more proud of my little monkey. ;) I think I find more enjoyment watching her explore this world than she does.

And thanks, jen_k_! I love love love the tat, too. ;) See what I did there? Lol I crack myself up... ;) It means victory... it's my mobile daily inspiration. :)
