At 3:45 this morning, every possible alarm in the apartment went off. Addi rolls over, rubs her eyes and asks, "why you wakin up?" I, mustering as much enthusiasm as one can do on 2 hours of sleep, answer " we're leaving on a jet plane, baby!" Addi sits up in bed, covers her face and giggles as she replies "sweet!"

And then, the radio turns itself on and I skip off to make coffee as Depeche Mode's Enjoy The Silence plays in the background.

So far, so good.
